Red Line 50205 MTL 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil - 1 Gallon

Made shifting easier. Original fluid in mini’s ARE NOT LIFETIME!!!! Change it and use this stuff.

This stuff is amazing! I bought it because I wanted to renew the oil in my 2012 Audi S4’s gearbox as I’m at 95,000 miles. I just thought it was good maintenance and I heard this stuff really helped shifts feel smoother. Well, on top of delivering on that it also cleared up the clutch chatter I had due to my LWFW and aggressive clutch. I’m so impressed and will definitely be using this stuff going forward!

Used in my Jeep Wrangler 1998 Renegade. Transmission is like new no more grinding!

As expected

I bought a high mileage 2017 MX-5 RF Club and recently hit the 52k mile service interval which included the transmission and differential fluid. I generally like Mobil 1 full synthetics and used that in the diff but they didn't have a GL-4 rated fluid and was warned in the forums that GL-5 can be bad for transmissions with copper alloys (brass). So I got the Redline MTL that everyone recommended. Amazing stuff. Not sure how much was fresh oil and how much was the MTL but defiantly shifts more smoothly, particularly in the cold.
