It is not compatible because the stand attaches differently. There is no way to release the stand on the 21.5" as there is with the other models so it is impossible to remove without completely disassembling the iMac. There are other solutions available that attach to the existing stand. They are kinda ugly but they work if you absolutely must use a vesa mount. **Q: He does it work with imac (retina 4k, 21.5-inch, late 2015) ?** A: It doesn't work, don't purchase it... **Q: I want to mount a 2010 27" iMac to the wall, no need for articulation.
