Review: So cute! - I love this rice cooker so much! I was SOOOO confused when i bought it based off the mixed reviews but honestly, it makes enough rice. If you're wanting to make a huge amount of rice to last several days- then yeah by all means get one that does more than 1-2 cups. But for me 1 cup of rice is a lot and thats plenty! I have left it on warm and it doesn't burn anything. It's so easy to use! I don't get why people are pretty peeved about having to unplug the product to turn it off, it's really not that big of a deal. I live in a small apartment and this little rice cooker is fantastic for a single individual living alone. The only BAD thing i can say about it is it over flowed onto the wire once when i used it, though it never happened again after that. I think i just put too much water.

**Q: Does this have fungus?**
A: I came here only for the comments haha!
I thought fungus was a feature I never knew that exist after using rice cookers for over 30 years! 😆 the only thing you need to be worried about these type of pots with coating (nonstick) is CANCER, not FUNGUS

**Q: No matter what i do (trying different amounts of water) i end up with a sticky mess.  i live in colorado, could that be the problem?**
A: Sticky mess? You must rinse the dry rice in water, until the water is clear. This removes the starchy powder which causes your cooked rice problem. —Buy the correct type of rice for your needs. Be aware of the labels on the packaging. Medium grain rice is ‘sticky rice’ like in sushi. Long grain rice is the soft fluffy kind.

**Q: dimensions says 16"  is that right? That seems big for the picture**
A: The insert measures 6" across by 2 1/2 deep,  Total dimensions of the cooker is 8 1/2 tall by 5 1/2 across.  This is a mini rice cooker enough for 2 cups of rice for two.  I like it because I do not have any left over rice.

**Q: Can it cook brown rice?**
A: Maybe.  Since the ratio of brown rice to water is about 1 cup rice: 2 cup water the volume of pot is maxed out prior to cooking.  Water and brown rice is full to the top.  If you cook more than 1 cup brown rice you should get a larger capacity cooker.  The measuring cup supplied with the cooker is 6 ounces full, rather than standard US 8 ounce cup of measurement.

I love this rice cooker so much! I was SOOOO confused when i bought it based off the mixed reviews but honestly, it makes enough rice. If you're wanting to make a huge amount of rice to last several days- then yeah by all means get one that does more than 1-2 cups. But for me 1 cup of rice is a lot and thats plenty! I have left it on warm and it doesn't burn anything. It's so easy to use! I don't get why people are pretty peeved about having to unplug the product to turn it off, it's really not that big of a deal. I live in a small apartment and this little rice cooker is fantastic for a single individual living alone. Es una arrocera súper bonita a la vista, además de muy pequeña y práctica (por si buscan algo pequeño para optimizar espacios), y da lo suficiente como para dos personas. Trae su instructivo con algunas recetas, lo cual me gustó mucho porque no solo es para arroz. Llevo ya algunos meses de usarla y me encanta, no se pega nada y es fácil y rápida de usar sin estarte preocupando cada minuto por el arroz. La recomiendo y volvería a comprar
