It is nice and thick, well constructed (or made - MADE IN USA). Every beanie comes in it's individual plastic bag for protection. At first, when you where it, it feels tight. As with any clothing, they will stretch and will be comfortable. I got the "tightness" feeling for just about 30 mins or maybe less. Next thing I knew, the tightness was not there but the beanie is still snug. I also love it because of the variety of colors available. I wear them to match with my clothes of the day for work and weekends. They're not just stylish but they do keep your head warm since we loose our body heat from the top of our head.
