## Description

Why your boat needs navigation light? When it comes to boat navigation lights, it’s every owner’s responsibility to make sure their boat complies. If your boat is out on the water between sunset and sunrise, you need lights. Even during low light conditions during the day, you may need lights. Whether you are anchored or underway, having the right lights onboard helps keep you, your passengers and other water users safe. Why boat navigation is important? If you meet a vessel and see a green, red and white light, you are approaching another power-driven vessel head-on. In this situation neither vessel has the right-of-way. Both operators must take early and substantial action to steer well clear of the other vessel. Both operators should reduce their speed and steer to starboard. Navigational lights tell other skippers what your boat is doing – anchored, motoring, or under sail - so they can predict your movement and anticipate the potential danger of a collision. Why Obcursco Bi-color navigation light? Obcursco focus on the R&D about boat’s navigation light. The goal of Obcursco is to provide most valuable but high quality boat navigation light to boat user. If you select Obcursco, great, it means you love your boat. If you select Obcursco, great, it means you are smart consumers. If you select Obcursco, great, you buy a best navigation light to your investment. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: is there any space under the light for the electrical connection? I have a wire coming directly out of a flat surface.**
A: Yes about 3/16 in if I remember, it is a very bright light.

**Q: What is the bolt hole pattern / dimensions?**
A: I didn’t measure it before I purchased it and it aligned right up with my existing light that I removed. It works great glad I purchased it.

**Q: How are the lights controlled?**
A: 12v dc power from your battery.

**Q: Can I run this straight off my trolling motor battery or do I need to go through a fuse box?**
A: I would put a fuse in line to the battery. To protect the battery in the event of the light shorting out.
