I would not recommend this sort of project without the accelerator. **Q: Will it work for under water in saltwater ?** A: You couldnt use it under water but it remains glued when placed in water **Q: Is it waterproof? Can it be used on an aluminum boat's riveted seams (in very good condition) to ensure that there will be no leaking?** A: Not really, it will seal but vibrations will cause it to crack and separate.
