So if you want to preserve the paint, by all means get what you need to be placed under your tires. However, it may be a tricky proposition to get all 4 mats placed correctly so the tires sit evenly on them. If you do, then that will work. **Q: I back into my garage. Will rear wheels transmit the bump/stop effectively?** A: Shouldn't be any different than if you pulled in straight.
