No more eczema!!! *by B***B on 6 September 2025* I was experiencing some eczema on my lower legs, and finally discovered it could be caused from the chlorine and chloramine in the tap water. Once I learned that ascorbic acid neutralizes chlorine and chloramine, I decided to try this one, since it features a metal construction and I felt reasonably assured it wouldn't break on me. On day one, the itching reduced significantly. By day two the itching stopped! Within several days the rash was noticeably diminishing! Within another week the rash was completely gone, and has stayed gone since! The refills last approximately 2 months for me, but I do live alone. Even once the powder is visibly gone it still works for at least a week! I'm actually putting in the 3rd refill today since I've owned it, which is just shy of 4 months now. No more eczema rash and itchiness! There's no change in water pressure or flow, the only change is there's a slight delay before a change in temperature is felt, but I already experienced that with a long hose for the shower head. I can't recommend one of these enough! Chlorine and chloramine are not our friends! I feel especially good when bathing my dog, knowing I'm not subjecting her to the two most harmful substances in tap water. The only improvement I could recommend is buying their 2 stage shower filter to remove even more toxins.
