Review: These have clearly been made with some oil to bind them - they burn and emit a terrible rancid smell - kind of fishy - which to me smells like rancid oil. I suspect these have been sitting for a while and they’re not fresh. Unfortunately it completely overpowers the sandalwood.

It works well. Just make sure you use the silver plate provide, or it will burn a hole through your table surface. I didn't see the metal plate in the box, so I placed it on the window edge. When it completed, it burned through the paper I placed underneath as well as the wood surface.
