I want to use this to paint my house keys. Will the paint stay on my keys permanently or will it fade?** A: You would not use watercolor for painting your keys. You could try an acrylic maybe or an oil paint but water color is just going to come right off. A good more permanent solution would be the Testors hobby enamel paint and that would last a long time. Or just get an inexpensive can of spray paint that’s colorful and that you could use for other things too. Oh and nail polish would work too. Good luck. **Q: Is the paint permanent? The brushes are just too long with the lid on to fit in the travel case, but they fit perfectly next to the case inside the black pouch, so that's not much of an issue. If I want to bring my paints when traveling, I think I will limit the iridescent pans to one side and replace with plain halp pans on the other side, for a more rounded palette. I have only tried the colours on white paper so far, and not yet on the included cards. Some colours are mislabled, but still the colours that are there are beautiful. In my colour swatch I wrote a question mark after the label on those that seemed mislabled. I think I will just go with what I got, as more browns/metal shades are probably more useful to me than the missing shades anyway. The pink is very sheer but has a very good sparkle to it, even if that's not caught on my photo. It may be hard to replace pans that run out though, if you can't trust the labels, so I would not rely heavily on specific paints from this set.
