Mine is like new, still in shrink, box has a scuff on top right, unopened. **Q: Does this not come with bases?** A: It comes with a whole bag of little plastic bases, not enough for every pawn, but I've always had more then enough for a full battle both monsters and players. **Q: Does the box contain pawns for sandpoint npcs? ameiko, kendra, the sheriff, foxglove, etc?** A: No, what you are looking for is "Pathfinder Pawns Rise of the Runelords Pawn Collection". This may no longer be available from Amazon but Paizo.com still carries that product. There is also a miniature set based on the Rise of the Runelords campaign that contain those characters. **Q: Does the box contains villagers, inn keepers, "civilians"?** A: There are a few, but not too many, maybe 10 or so? The art is detailed and pleasant, fitting in nicely with the terrain tiles and monster standees I use (Dungeons and Dragons Tile Sets and Pathfinder Bestiary Box respectively). While most interactions with NPCs are done "theater of the mind" style in my gaming group, there are times when my party ends up in a place I know, and can prepare, which allows me to populate a map with people they can interact with. This, just like any other physical prop I bring to the table, always seems to enhance my player's enjoyment during a session. Then I found the Pathfinder pawns series. beautiful illustration on sturdy cardboard, this and and the Bestiary Box will be enough to get me through quite a lot of adventures and for a fraction of the cost of miniatures.
