I use this particular pastel as a blender of color(s). I find it moves the color of choice without changing it and is alsoexcellent in the subtle blending together of several colors. Although not necessary I "set" my colors by very lightly spraying with ANY hairspray. **Q: Does this single pan come with any soft tools?** A: No, single pans don't come with tools. Only the multi-pan sets come with the soft sponge tools. **Q: Is this 840.7?** A: Yes.
