I bought a second-hand Dell P3421W(has a usb-c port) to connect to my macbook pro m1. Previous to getting the Dell monitor I used a Samsung ultrawide monitor and used a belkin 6-in-1 hub to connect to my macbook. This cable now has helped me get rid of my belkin hub and connect my macbook directly to the dell monitor. I spend 1-2 hour testing various things on my monitor with this cable such as sharpness, refresh rate, brightness, ability to turn on as soon my macbook sleeps. This cable is best suited for these factors ie 4k at 60hz and is able to wake up the monitor as soon as I touch mac keyboard. While connected the macbook is continuously charged as well that way I am not running out of battery power.
