Great crate at a great price!
I purchased two of these crates for two rescue dogs that we were blessed to adopt. We adopted one dog two months before the other and I purchased this crate after reading all the positive reviews. The crate arrived quickly and was a breeze to put together with very clear instructions. They describe it as portable and I guess you could call it that because it does fold up nicely, but it is heavy! It is very well made, sturdy and has built in clips that make it very easy to put up and take down. My 60 lb German Shepherd/Lab mix has plenty of room to stand as well as lay out flat. The 42" crate is the perfect size for her. I have a hard time imagining a dog figuring out a way to open the door by themselves as one reviewer suggested. The door is secured with a latch at the top and another at the bottom. It feels very secure. Was so happy with the first crate that I purchased another when we adopted another dog two months later. Again the crate arrived quickly and was a breeze to put together. Because this dog needed a covered crate, I also purchased a Precision Pet Indoor/Outdoor Crate Cover. GREAT cover! Fits the crate like a glove and is really good quality.I paid just under $69 for each crate and I've seen them in stores for twice that. Great crate, great price. The only improvement that I could make on this crate is that I wish the door was adjustable so you could change the swing to the other side. Just happens that with the location of both crates in my home, it would be more convenient if the door swung left to right. Not a huge deal, just would be nice. I had no need to install the partition because both my dogs are adults.

Great dog crate
Good solid dog crate. Works great for our mini-golden doodle male. Plenty of space for him to stretch out in.

Cages are as advertised, strong, full-size, solid pan, divider if needed
Note - I painted mine and am using it for an inside kitty 'Cat-io'!STRONG cage. Bought mine 'returned' for $30 discount, Arrived looking like new, it was bent in a spot that was easy to straighten, and the cage is slightly taller than wide. :) :) :)

Outstanding !!!
Took a chance on returned merchandise - and I won the lottery! Both crates were in super condition - complete with original everything. Incredible price (less than half regular price). Came in 2 days. Both came in the same (new) box which was needed as their original boxes were quite scuffed up. There were NO kick holes or corner drops, and a lot of (easy to cut) tape keeping the insides protected. As I opened them, my dogs came to see & tried to get in & claim their new houses. Wonderful!!!

Big, solid, nice price.
Item (42 inch variety) arrived on time and the box it was in was easy to open. The item was essentially already put together but it was folded up. You only had to put the back and front wall on which used little hooks to secure it to the base assembly. The item isn't too heavy to move but isn't light enough to fill chintzy. It comes with one divider that you can use to adjust the available room for your dog so it can grow with your dog. It was easy enough to install, it just has 4-5 hooks that secure it to the top of the assembly (cage). My only concerns with the cage is the manner in which the front, back, and divider pieces are secured. The hooks appear to secure the front/back/divider securely enough to keep it together, but I question its ability to maintain its integrity when a big dog might want to get out. Also, the divider attaches at the top of the cage but there's nothing at the bottom from keeping it from swinging if pressed. It was easy enough to throw on a few zip ties for added security and to hold the bottom of the divider down. This isn't enough to warrant taking a star off as it's a very cheap and quick fix to a product that is priced $40 less than what petco/petsmart/walmart is going to offer. If I have to use 50 cents worth of zip ties to save 40 bucks I'm going to.As of right now the item is an absolute easy buy. I will update my review every month or two if there is anything significant to note. My family and I put our new 8 week-old golden retriever in her new bed last night and when she is an adult I will definitely update the review to indicate its (the cages) longevity. Thanks for reading.Nick

Love this kennel!!
I love this kennel! We just brought home a 9 week old puppy who’s used to have a metal playpen in the living room of the breeders house. Our puppy is very conferable in it and he can see everything the living room, where he stays during the day if we don’t have him with us.He likes being able to see our adult shepherd and he gets plenty of light. The cage is built strong, easy to setup. The door is easy to open with latches at the top and bottom so there no escaping! I love the plastic pan at the bottom of the cage. It’s conferable for the dog to lay on and if your pup has an accident, it won’t be on your floors! It’s easy to clean up any messes.I originally had bought the largest size because I was at going to use it for our two ducks to sleep in during the night, in our barn. During the day the ducks have free run on the farm but in the evening we need to secure them up because of predators. This kennel would have been perfect size for them but then we got a puppy. So the ducks will continue to stay in a horse stall at night, for now.Our puppy is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi but our very large German Shepard will go in it and lay down when the puppy isn’t in it. Why, don’t know, just because he can. :pI highly recommend this kennel.
