## Overview

SpaChoice 1-Quart 4-Pack Premium Liquid Flocculant is a powerful pool clarifier designed to bind and settle suspended organic and inorganic particles. With precise dosing of 1 ounce per 5,000 gallons and a 24-72 hour settling period, it enables easy vacuum-to-waste removal, restoring crystal-clear water. Ideal for cartridge, sand, and D.E. filter pools, it works best when pool pH is balanced at 7.2 or higher and can be used weekly to maintain pristine pool conditions.

## Description

This product will effectively flocculate organic and inorganic particles in swimming pool water. For Cartridge Filter Pools: You must have the capability to vacuum to waste (by-pass filtration). Test pool water pH with a reliable test kit, adjust pH to 7.2 or greater. For highly turbid pool water, turn off pump and dispense approximately 4 oz. of this product per 5,000 gallons of water evenly over the water surface and then immediately brush pool walls and steps. Wait 24-72 hours to allow organic and inorganic particles to settle to pool floor. Cartridge Filter Pools: With the pool pump off, remove filter element and then reassemble filter canister. Prepare to manually vacuum pool to waste. Turn pool pump on and slowly vacuum pool until heavy sediment is removed. Turn pump off, reinstall filter element, and resume normal filter operation for at least 24 hours. Monitor pressure on pool filter and if pressure exceeds your normal operating pressure: turn system off, clean filter element and then resume filtering until pool is clear and free of sediment. Sand and D.E. Filter Pools: With the pool pump off, prepare to manually vacuum pool to waste. Turn pool pump on and slowly vacuum pool until heavy sediment is removed then resume normal filter operation for at least 24 hours. Monitor pressure on pool filter and if pressure exceeds your normal operating pressure, backwash filter and then resume filtering until pool is clear and free of sediment. This product may be used as a part of weekly pool maintenance to prevent the pool water from becoming cloudy or turbid. Apply 1 oz. of this product per 5,000 gallons of pool water directly into the skimmer or around the pool perimeter while the circulation system is in operation.

Review: It works! - This was my first time needing to use a flocculant. I had cloudy water for 2 weeks and a clarifier did not work. The directions said to balance the pH and then you can add it. The first attempt however didn't work. I then read online that the pool chemistry has to be balanced first (not just the pH). Since my pool turned green, I needed to shock it, add an algaecide, and bring the pH and alkalinity into proper range. THEN I added the flocculant. I let it sit for 2 days with the filter off. When you vacuum, you vacuum to waste so make sure that your pool water levels are high. It worked beautifully. I highly recommend this product.

A: I'm not sure. I used it in an above ground pool with a vinyl liner. The product worked wonderfully.

This was my first time needing to use a flocculant. I had cloudy water for 2 weeks and a clarifier did not work. The directions said to balance the pH and then you can add it. The first attempt however didn't work. I then read online that the pool chemistry has to be balanced first (not just the pH). Since my pool turned green, I needed to shock it, add an algaecide, and bring the pH and alkalinity into proper range. THEN I added the flocculant. I let it sit for 2 days with the filter off. When you vacuum, you vacuum to waste so make sure that your pool water levels are high. It worked beautifully. I highly recommend this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cloudy to clear in a day

I put the product in. I just put little drops at a time near the return to let it mix into the water. I have an 18ft pool, 54in deep above ground. I turned the filter off after an hour and let it sit overnight. Even with a rainstorm, I came out to all the algae sunk to the bottom and the vacuuming should’ve been recorded and sent to “oddly satisfying” I recommend you prep your vacuum the night before and have it already in the water and air out of the hose. I kicked up a lot of that algae just putting the hose underwater but with good suction, you should be fine.
