Trying to reduce a pump down to 1/4" is not a good idea to begin with, especially if there is ANY particulate in the liquid. **Q: Im looking to run a 1/4 line about 10ft total length to an ice maker by installing this and a Y adapter to cold water for laundry. Will it work?** A: Should work, bu is 1/4 inch enough for laundry, also these are plastic parts so if it is under constant pressure (30-40 psi) may eventually leak.
