Any more stylish Pro timberlands?** A: I can tell you from personal experience that these particular boots hold up better than the boots I used to purchase at the Red Wing store for $275.00. The Red Wings are comfortable and well built, but the leather is soft, it rips, and the soles wear down quickly. You can get them resoled but I never had the leather last long enough to warrant getting them resoled. I would get 9 months from a pair on average. One year I was low on funds and tried these Timberland PRO boots. It was a slow time in construction, so I wasn't wearing them 5 or 6 days a week 10 hours a day, but they lasted me three years. I bought a second pair, wore them daily, and got 18 months out of them. They were beat looking but still comfortable with some tread left. I'd say these boots are easily good for a year, 10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Invest in toe guards if you want to get the most life out of these boots, especially if you kneel a lot or rest things on the toe for leverage. **Q: How do the sizes on these compare to their safety toe boots? I wear 10.5 wide in under armour running shoes and the same in timberlands. Timberlands fit me the same every time.
