However, one of the spools had the thread coming out of two places in the middle of the top - no way to start using it. **Q: Where does the thread start pulling from?** A: The thread starts under the bottom orange piece. Gently twist the bottom piece off and you will see the end of the thread. **Q: What is Mako thread?** A: This thread is very high quality 100% cotton. Low lint & simply one of my favorite threads period for any quilting project. Google it for a more in depth answer. **Q: I am kind of bummed. Received my order today.
