This company demonstrates that it's possible to make a high quality knife without charging an arm and a leg for it. I have several Steel Will knives and they all possess flawless attention to detail in construction and materials resulting in a consistent premium quality product. The Sentence 101 has a satisfying heft that just feels right in your hand. The 9cr18mov steel is a high quality stainless steel that requires little maintenance and is fairly tough. The G-10 scales are comfortable and the machined ridges on them provide a grippy surface. The knife fits snugly in the Kydex sheath and there is no play at all. The knife came impressively sharp right out of the box, which I am finding to be a consistent trait from Steel Will. I have touched up the edge with my ceramic sharpener and the steel takes a "razor" edge. The thick spine will shower sparks from a ferro rod quite easily, although I personally prefer to use a scraper to save the blades on my knives. I am especially impressed by the very reasonable prices they charge for this level of quality. Anyone looking for a high quality knife at a price that won't break the bank should look no farther than any Steel Will knife.
