With the release of the dynamic E4000, the step-up of the successful E2000 earphones, Final have achieved a purer, subtler sound with more balance and clearer delivery. This version also includes a detachable audio cable with special MMCX connectors making the E4000 even more versatile. Tuned to reap pure and natural sound with balanced execution, the drivers of the E4000 produce natural and realistic sound that does not emphasise any frequencies in particular. An important role in this design plays the acoustic chamber inside the dynamic driver that controls the balance between the volume of low frequencies and clarity. With the uniquely designed swing fit mechanism, the earpieces of the E4000 can be swung left and right and tilted towards the audio canal for a perfect fit. Review: Top shelf product - This review is based on what I've seen and heard in the 2 days I've had them. First, they came well packed, but nothing fancy. Build quality is excellent overall. I like the fact that the cables are interchangeable with other mmcx cables, and not the 2 prong kind. Right out of the box, these fit my ears perfectly with the pre-attached eartips, but also included other size tips if necessary. Of course the most important thing with earbuds is the sound and comfort. These do not disappoint. Sound is on the level of my audio technica ath m50x studio headphones. The perfect fit also kept most outside noises to a minimum, and ensured me a great range of sound. No issues with comfort either. So I highly recommend. I'm not sure how they will hold up, but, so far, I'm very happy with the final e4000 earbuds.

**Q: What in-line mic cables would work with these earbuds? I need a pair that has a mic in them.**
A: the E400 has detachable MMCX connector cables. Any cable with MMCX connectors should work. There are also Bluetooth MMCX connectors available if you choose to go that route. Example: Shure BT1 / BT2. Westone has a Bluetooth MMCX connector as well. Try searching Amazon for 'MMCX cable with microphone'.

**Q: intended for over ear use?**

**Q: is there a microphone?**
A: Nope.

**Q: Will the E4000 plug in to my sony receiver?**
A: The plug on the E4000 is 1/8" or 2.5mm. Your Sony receiver headphone jack is probably 1/4" or 6.35mm. If this is the case, you will need a 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor to connect the E4000 to your receiver.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the most natural sounding IEMS I have

I'll do a better review on these later but for now they deserve the 5 star rating. They are gorgeous and fit great. Quality materials, solid build, great custom tips. cable is quality but it's super long (which would be my only criticism. I think the general everyday listener wanting good sound with deep punchy bass will like them and audiophiles wanting a natural, detailed and open sound will like them even more. The best thing I can say when listening to these is it makes me get lost in the music. They have a unique sound which may take a few songs to get used to and you may feel they aren't detailed enough in the more revealing analytical way some earphones of this price could be (or should be). BUT the detail is there... and then some. What these earphones do though is make you appreciate the song and the artist. You'll hear your favs in a different light, you'll hear nuances and emotions that you felt only when you first heard the track. I love Queen, I know every song well after 25 years of loving the band and songs. The e4000 had me playing entire albums again start to finish. I rarely do that, I mainly go by a mixed playlist. It was a treat hearing songs like i was hearing them again for the first time. Bass -Strong and deep, well behaved. Mids - VERY natural sounding and organic. Vocals -Up front and silky Treble - Can be sparkly when needed, never fatiguing or sharp. Good detail. I love these. I have over 90 IEMS/Headphones, it's a hobby. These are up there with sets like the Dunu DN2000, another IEM that lets you get lost in the music. They're over £200. The Dunu was another set that I irst had to get used to thinking I had paid too much, but then when you actually LISTEN to them you realise how good they are. Again, my only criticism is the cable length. It's a quality cable though. I've tried custom ones and cables from other earphones but they take away that unique smooth sound. I must admit though I prefer them at home. There is some outside noise coming thru when walking around but the music still comes thru clearly. These aren't for sports either, they will fall out unless you use the hooks but I don't like them your ear (that's just me tho)
