Review: Best legos set for first learner tots - Legos are by far one of the best toys a kid could ever have. And this set is the perfect way to start playing with legos. The square blocks are the perfect ones to get introduced to. They are good to hold for those tiny hands and really easy to build and rebuild again and again. Once a child figures out and gets hold of how the legos work, its a plain sailing after that. First time I bought this when my toddler was 17 months. It took about a week to get used to his first legos. The following week onwards he has been enjoying it, his interest for it has always been continuing to grow. One big advantage is that different legos sets could be combined altogether and kept on adding to their stories. It indeed lets their imagination to flourish. My toddler received another celebration set, he combined them together and makes a lot of variation to his stories. It really helps in the development of creativity, fine motor skills, co-ordination and what not. It also makes a great gift, unlike many other toys this isn’t going to sit on the rack. I already bought two for gifting, and I can surely see myself buying more. Got one day delivery all the three times when I purchased. They are safe and sturdy too. Highly recommend!

**Q: Are the numbers on each block painted or are these stickers?**
A: All of the artwork on any of our DUPLO elements are printed on the bricks themselves. No stickers at all!

**Q: Is there any way to attach a cord so it can be pulled?**
A: Hi there! That's a neat idea. You could likely thread a cord through the engine's windows. We haven't tried that out ourselves, though, so it might take a little trial and error to figure out the best spot. - Emily, LEGO® Customer Service

**Q: How tall is it?**
A: 2-3 inches. The engine has a cabin piece that is another 2-3 inches

**Q: Why is it 0-9 and not 1-10. Am I the only person that finds this odd? The zero just seems not to belong, in the product pictures they don’t use it.**
A: Hi there! The set includes bricks numbered 0 - 9, however only 1-9 are on the train itself in the set box pictures. The "0" brick is pictured in front of the train, and is supposed to be included in the set with the others. I hope this helps clear things up!

My children and now my grandchildren have played with duplo. This is a great set to start a toddler’s collection. It’s very hard wearing and can be washed in your machine. Ideal for hygiene peace of mind.
