Trying to choose this or Lowepro 202 sling** A: It's surprisingly light for how ruggedly built it is. I would guess it's around a pound (16 oz) or so. Certainly no more than 3 pounds. I tried doing the scale trick - stand on the scale holding the empty bag, then again without the bag - but my damn scale didn't register any difference. Granted, I'm about 6'3" and 255lbs, so I my poor scale's probably working too hard to pickup such a small difference. Sorry. **Q: Will this bag hold an Mamiya RB67 w/ film back, waist lever viewfinder, and lens attached?** A: As long as the RB67's viewfinder is collapsed, it looks like it should easily fit, even with a long lens attached. You just might not have room for a lot of accessories. **Q: What is the wide strap on the bottm for?** A: There are different variations of this pack. Mine is several years old and there is one strap on the bottom that is a handle and another that leads to the nylon buckle for adjusting the length of the shoulder strap.
