But whenever you shop for an item, Amazon presents you with a couple of lists: "Items similar to this item," "Customers also shopped for....," etc., and that's where I slipped up - because some of the items supposedly "similar" to what I was looking for were in fact quite different: In this case, lacking the ability to re-charge via solar energy. It's not the item's fault. This little lamp is OK for what it is. But it does not offer solar charging, which pretty much limits its utility in case of emergencies, or for camping (unless you have a separate solar panel from which to charge it.
