It is highly adjustable, and you can get it to extend far into the air. You can also adjust it to have many different angles. As with all recent Ban Dai products, the injection molding is flawless and the pieces all snap together easily. You do not need glue! Long story-short, someone on reddit recommended the Action Base 1 since it was made specifically for MGs, which I didn’t know since I just recently gotten into gunpla, and by far, it really is the best and sturdiest stand for any MGs, even for a 2006 stand. Was able to pose the Sinanju in many different ways, and the stand was able to hold it with no problem. The Action Base 1 will definitely be my to-go for MGs from now on. It does wobble if you bump it, shake the table, etc., but it will not fall over or pop off the base, and the wobble is expected for any Action Base. I keep mine in a glass cabinet, so it’s no problem. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a sturdy base for MGs.
