I've used other fabric sprays and the last one didn't even cover half the lace trimming on a small childs dr** A: I was spraying a chair top that was probably 2'x2' and had a three inch trim all the way around and it took about 4 bottles I think but I also had a very textured fabric that was hard to cover **Q: Does it work on all synthetic fabrics?** A: I used it on dingy high chair fabric for active toddler. It began rubbing off, showing the old fabric underneath. If untouched, It may work fine, but I wouldn't purchase for any kind of upholstered seats where there will be friction against the material. **Q: Can I use this on a jansport backpack?** A: Not sure. I also ordered a spray also and that worked on outdoor cushions. Not sure what kind of fabric jansport backpack is. If close to outdoor cushions works well. **Q: How much do I need to spray a pair of pants?** A: We used two bottles to make a tie dye effect on a half of a twin sheet.
