Its not permanent ink but its definitely not washable like the "ultra clean washable" crayola markers we use usually. Wish I had known that. **Q: Does gray come in a 12 pack, too? i can't seem to find a pack of them, but i see almost every other color.** A: Thanks for asking! While our Bulk Markers come in an array of colors, grey is not available. We'll be sure to share this with our team! **Q: Can you use these to do pigment activity with kids (putting marker on coffee filter then allowing the different colors to separate with water)?** A: They are standard Crayolas. I think they work OK for that activity, but I have only used the Mr. Sketch that most district internal supply warehouses carry for that. (I was told long ago that they were better; I haven't compared personally.) **Q: Are they thin lines ? Are they washable? Thanks** A: They are listed as broad line, but I'd say it's a medium size. It ends in a pointed tip, so there is the possibility of making a thinner line if you don't press too hard.
