No biggie in a jean pocket, (not skinny jeans). I might hesitate in a tighter pair of dress pants, but that would be out of concern for the appearance, not that it won't fit. As such this is not made to hold large items, but I found it ample. I can fit various small items, I call them trinket tools in the main pocket (Swiss army knife, Allen wrenches, lighter, etc) and use the pen and smaller flashlight pocket as intended. I also can fit a Leatherman Skeletool, although it is a tight fit. Pros: The leather is soft and pliable, while holding it's form. It fits in all of my pockets. A convenient way to carry items in my pocket without them smacking into each other or poking me. It's a good product at a very reasonable cost. Cons: an extra 1/8" or even 1/16" on the main pocket would add more versatility. It's single stitched.
