Still, I found it valuable to understand the normal childhood development process and how things can go wrong, which will help me in interactions with others who may have significant developmental trauma.The authors are renowned clinicians and the text is written primarily for other clinicians, but I found it accessible given post-graduate training in an unrelated field and life experience. I would be cautious (and the authors warn in places) if one is aware of significant trauma and perhaps seek professional advice before or while reading.It was well worth the effort to understand and engage deeply with the text - I learned so much about myself and in how to understand others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Einführung in den Umgang mit chronischer Dysregulation *by on Reviewed in Germany 31 December 2021* In diesem Buch finden sich Erklärungen zu Bindung, den Auswirkungen von sehr früher Traumatisierung auf die Entwicklung und die Regulationsfähigkeit, daraus resultierender chronischer Dysregulation und zu somatischen Ansätzen, die helfen könnten, Regulation ganz neu zu lernen, wo das bisher einfach nicht möglich war.Es werden Grundlagen der Forschung sauber zusammen gefasst und Besonderheiten von Entwicklungstrauma klar hervorgehoben.Dieses Buch ist allerdings, das sollte man wissen, vor allem Psychoedukation.
