Luckily, these are more rugged than the ones I used to buy so my kids do not break them. The only problem I have with these cables is that they do not come in bright neon colors because my kids somehow loose them. Maybe their friends borrow their "jump ropes". Before they get lost, they do a good job of charging phones. They are "certified" lightning cables. They worked great for the first few months, now they fail to connect. I tried, just because, connecting them to a number of different charging and connecting sources and nothing, the cables are dead.
