Keep in mind for 'target' shooting (paper), you're probably better with target pellets. These are designed for their ability to spread out larger than their .177 diameter upon entering the 'target' (think of a squirrel) for maximum tissue damage. **Q: are these "Splat" Pellets (i.e., miss the target and they flatten out on a hard object (like a roof)?** A: No,the destoyers are designed for small game hunting,I.e rabbit, squirrel etc.,they do not "splat"they penetrate,you want regular pellets for target shooting,they are blunt nosed and "splat" when hitting a hard surface. **Q: Does anyone know how many grams they would be?** A: 7.4 grams but be warned - Crosman pellet tins are notoriously HARD TO OPEN! Last one I had to chisel the top open and put pellets in Altoid tins. I have a .177 pistol and break-barrel rifle, and both guns love shooting these. I get more velocity and better accuracy than most other pellets I've tried. They are smaller in diameter than the typical .177 pellet, always very easy to load, and I haven't had any trouble with shooting them. If you want a better seal in the barrel, you might try oiling these pellets, but I haven't needed to do that. I bought them because they were cheap and am very happy with their performance. Almost none of them had bent skirts or other flaws. Perfect for pest control or target practice. Only negative thing I can say is that the tin is impossible to get open with bare hands. I had to use a pipe wrench! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TESTED *by M***R on September 13, 2025* I tested these made in Spain Crosman destroyer pellets against made in USA Crosman Destroyer pellets in a Crosman F4 Break Barrel at 35 yards. They performed the same, Dead on the money. Accurcy is great. They look more like a Gamo pellet of the same gran,but the Gamo hits just a little bit higher. I like them.
