Did the block of seven knives just slice 5 tomatoes each or were they used on an infomercial where they cut a boot in half then sliced 5 tomatoes? How dull and or damaged they are directly affects belt life proportionally. The stated dimensions are 1" x 9.25" which is correct for an 18" belt (9" each side). The regular Ken Onion sharpening attachment uses shorter belts. **Q: Are these OEM or aftermarket?** A: Our abrasive belts are not OEM. They are sourced in custom sizes just for our sharpeners. We do not make the abrasive itself, but they are not available anywhere else in these sizes.
