With in Bluetooth range.** A: No, you can only configure that alarm on the smart shunt. I use the shunt for high voltage alarms primarily. **Q: I don't see any way to rename the devices. I do not have other Victron products or their network system, just the item listed here and the iphone app.** A: Go into the app, click on the Smart Battery Sense you would like to name change, click on the gear symbol in the right corner, click on the three dots in the right corner, click on "product info", change the name. **Q: If i already have the victron bmv-712 battery monitor, will this add any benefit? can the battery monitor talk to the victron mppt solar charger?** A: If you already have the optional temperature sensor hooked up to your 712, this device will not add any functionality for you. If you do not, however, then this device will report battery temperature directly to the MPPT via Bluetooth when you connect both devices via a VE.Smart Network, which is easily set up using the VictronConnect app. Regards, -Justin Mobile Power Pros / Bay Marine Supply **Q: Can (1) be used on (3) batteries in parallel?** A: I have 7 x 12V100AH LFP in parallel via a busbar, and it works fine, just pick any battery on the bar.
