I am 70: and when I first noticed a lot more space between my teeth; they were actually shrinking in size which made it seem that they were separating. This is a game changer *by on Reviewed in the United States 8 February 2026* I use this to combat acid reflux. I wash it down with apple cider vinegar and it allowed me to discontinue with Prilosec. I could not be happier. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Avoid if sensitive to pepsin *by on Reviewed in the United States 17 August 2025* I liked that these were a lower dose than a lot of other brands of Betain HCL but I did notice that pepsin in it caused some digestive discomfort. The tablets were easy to swallow and like a said a low enough dose that was easy to adjust if you were eating a bigger or smaller meal. If you are sensitive to pepsin though like I am it can exasperate your symptoms.
