The material is thick and it works great. **Q: how do you clean the bag itself?** A: My answer is the same as answer one. Cat hair seems to have an affinity to this bag. If this is a problem for you a lint brush may help. **Q: Does this come with the plastic retainer clip?** A: Yes, it comes with the plastic retainer clip. I love these bags. **Q: Can you tell me what bags replace the style C bags for the Eureka mighty mite ?** A: I use the MM Eureka bags for replacement. My local vacuum store also sold a cloth bag that is designed to empty and reuse. It has stood up over the years and may still be available. I am unfamiliar with the C Eureka.
