I like using this fun camera to take pictures of my son and I. I tried figuring it out for myself but did need to go to the intructions to understand how to work it and that’s where I found all the different settings that are available like different borders for the pictures, being able to take a photo to save to the gallery or printing mode option that prints the photo right after it is taken. My son is still not old enough to process that he has to aim the camera to take a photo but he was able to use the button to capture photos which I put to save in the gallery. Regardless he loved when I would take a photo and the picture would print. It reminded me of the pictures that you would take in the photo booth of chuckie cheese it comes out printed on a thin sheet of paper. Although you need to adjust the settings and make the ink come out darker and you have to be mindful of the brightness of the room I still enjoyed the simplicity of being able to take a photo and get it printed. Sometimes the photos come out too light like it gets white washed but brightness but like I said you can change the settings to adjust it and just be mindful . I love my little collections of photos thy I’ve captured of my son and myself. And I was really impressed by all the supplies it came with. Not only did it come with numerous rolls of the printer paper, with ink already in the camera but also a carrying case. There were also stickers included and markers. My son has loved the four markers it came with and has been using them to draw as a separate activity a part from the camera. It should be noted that an SD card is needed to save photos or videos onto the device but it is cheap to buy I got my 32GB which is the maximum storage it can hold for only $8 at Best Buy. Overall I really am looking forward to continuing to use the camera as my son grows and continue a collection of photos. Like I said it’s fun and easy to use. The instructions are clear and I’ve used them multiple times when I needed to reference a question I had . I also didn’t mind if a photo didn’t come out the quilting I wanted like if it came out blurry because my son moved at the last second or he blinked etc because there is so much printing paper and it prints so fast so it’s easy to just keep taking photos . It should also be noted to try and hold still for a few seconds when posing for the photo because I’ve noticed there’s a little delay with the picture it captures like I’ll take it when my son is smiling but then he moves and it captures him blinking and moved in a different position.

I got this for my 5 yr old. I like the instaprint cameras and the kodaks, but they are so expensive and the film is so expensive. I was neither comfortable, nor could I afford giving that to my 5 year old to possibly break.This camera functions with thermal printing. It comes with plenty of paper/rolls and is SUPER easy to use, even for a kid. It also takes a good beating as my kid has dropped it multiple times and it works just fine.The pictures are black and white and actually come out pretty good (if the person does not move). It has the screen in the back and shows the picture. You can do little filters too, kind of like the photo booth ones. Though the pictures are not the best quality (the paper is not high quality picture paper, obviously), for a 5 year old it was great. She took SOOOOO many pictures and printed them. And had them taped all over.For the price and the ease, it is a great camera for a 5 year old and you do not have to worry about breaking the bank with all the pictures they take. It has been great for family gatherings too because she could go up to someone and take a picture of them and it prints instantly. I recommend this as a starter camera for 4-8 yr olds and definitely worth it.

We bought this cute camera as a Christmas gift for our young nieces, but it ended up being a novelty to everyone in the family. It came with a little yellow camera bag and black strap, lanyard attachment, stickers, coloring markers, extra rolls of paper, charging cord, and instructions. It was really easy to figure out and get going. It came fully charged, so we popped the paper roll inside the little compartment, read how to get it in printing mode, and started snapping away. The pictures are in black-and-white only of course, and range in quality from pretty poor to pretty amazingly sharp considering you are just printing on what is basically cash register receipt paper. I put some examples of each in the photos so you could see. The last two are of our puppy taken with different colored filters, which really changed the quality of the photo. If you access the menu, you can also change the resolution, print quality, and lighting options. Probably too much for smaller children to handle, but a cool feature for older ones who want to feel like they have an “adult” camera. The video screen is in full color, great quality, and if you put in your own microSD memory card you can save pictures and videos and transfer them to a computer.

I bought this camera for my 4 year old niece who recently has been showing an interest in photography. Getting an instant photo camera like a Polaroid was too expensive, plus with the added cost for film refills was way more than I wanted to spend. Not to mention my niece would just be taking endless photos of random stuff that would just get tossed and that is wasteful on the environment.Then I found the Dragon Touch InstantFun Instant print camera for kids and was thrilled. It was exactly what I was hoping to find. The photos print instantly on recyclable paper using a cool technology that doesn't require ink so there is no need for ink refills ever. The rolls of paper last a decent time and the camera come with 5 extra rolls (which are very easy to install and swap out/refill).The settings took a round or two to understand and get used to, but it's pretty simple and the fun photo frame options and decorative elements filters add a lot of variety to the photos you can take. Each photo prints instantly (or you can opt out of this feature and print on command instead) at roughly 2"x3", similar to the popular Fujifilm Instax Mini size film, so you can easily find a mini photo album.The most fun thing is once the photo is printed, you can color on them! The camera even comes with some crayons. Since the photos print at B&W (and look slightly faded but I was fine with that), you can add more fun by coloring and personalizing each photo.Definitely recommend this product for kids who have a creative bone or two :) Enjoy!
