I wanted a good-looking, durable felt pad cover for my rectangular glass table. I bought a piece  of felt that provides two layers of protection. This arrangement is perfect under a piece of oilcloth for lobster dinners and art projects. I also like the uniqueness of color blue instead of everyone else's green.
