I was not able in my first and only test of doing cut ins in the closet to get as close to the edge as I wanted. It got close and it was a very crisp line but not close enough to the edges as I liked so I went back and cut in by hand. Maybe if you are not good at doing it by hand this would be a good option. Maybe I just did not get enough paint in the foam tip that is suppose to squeeze out.
