**Q: Could I put this down on the floor under a rug for dampening sounds from the neighbor below me?**
A: You cant use our composition cork for flooring. It will crack. We supply cork underlayment rolls that 4' x 50' x 6mm (1/4") for flooring. They can be put underneath a floor but it cant be used as the floor itself.

**Q: I am thinking to use this on bottom side of mantel to absorb heat from gas fireplace which is 2ft below.**
A: no

**Q: What glue to use on this product**
A: The best would be contact cement like that used for making Formica counter tops...... apply with as much ventilation as possible

**Q: What is best thickness to use with push pins?**
A: 3/8" thickness is the recommended for push pins as a standard tack pin is 3/8 long

Cork showed up in perfect condition. I glued it to a 4X8 sheet of plywood, tacked it to the wall then framed it in place. The prints in the pic are 11X17 so you get an idea of size.The finish of the cork is flawless and the thickness is perfect for push pins. I looked around, and this was a good value for sure.
