First of all, I was impressed with the packaging of these Whiskey Rocks. They came in a nice box and the box was placed inside a very nice elegant case and I thought that it could be a nice gift for someone. I had never used rocks as liquor chilling before and I thought I can use these rocks for wine chilling and it worked much better than ice. With ice, the wine loses it flavors and become a bit watery when the ice melt. Unlike with this Rocks, the wine keeps its flavors and still cold. I don't really drink whiskey so later on I put them in a glass of wine instead and, Hey, they worked! Really well!! The wine was chilled to perfection and I didn't get any kind of after taste from the stones at all. And, needless to say, no diluting of the drink from melting ice! I really like the packaging too, a little wooden box with brass hinges! I think this would make a great gift for the Holidays or really, any time of the year!! I received these Whiskey Rocks at a discount for an honest review and that is what you've gotten from me!
