Quality is as good as much more expensive units. Moves my18.6 ft flats boat around without any problems. I would recommend going with a 24volt unit if your boat is any bigger than mine. Brackets and release mechanism work great. Installation instructions suck, BUT if you really need directions on how to mount the motor you probably shouldn't be out in a boat anyway. Strike the probably. Would buy this unit again.

I have only used this motor four times but so far its been great. Was easy to mount and battery has lasted with no problem running this motor for 3 to 4 hours at a time. would recommend to anyone needing a motor for smaller boat, mine is a 16' aluminum.
