Purchased 9 of these. Out of the box and for the first 10 months these are nice lights. Beyond 10 months, I had 1 fail on me month 11 (vender replaced) and had 3 more fail after 14 months in use. They are programmed to be on roughly 7 hours a night over that period of time (7 hrs winter / 5 hrs summer).

these lights are very difficult to install on a deck post like the one pictured here. You have to drill a hole all the way through the post or have visible wiring. Also you are not given all the wiring and electrical equipment needed in the order. An electrician has to be called and when I had an electrician come estimate it would be very expensive and would not have looked good.

The product is a direct replacement for the incandescent version I am replacing on my deck. I have gone from 10 W to 1 W, with this change. The light is not that obvious, until dark falls.  It is not overwhelming,  but it gets the job done, and looks just fine.
