In A Very Special Favor, the illustrious Rock Hudson and chic Leslie Caron shine together onscreen in the City of Lights! Charismatic attorney Paul Chadwick (Hudson) will stop at nothing to win a case, including wooing the female judge. When the opposing counsel, Parisian Michel Boullard (Charles Boyer), realizes the reason for his loss in court, he makes an offer that can't be refused: Chadwick must entice Boullard's psychiatrist-daughter away from her feeble fiance (Dick Shawn). Unusual to find a romantic comedy, from this era, that I had never seen before. It was more charming than I anticipated and exceeded my expectations.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ In Honor of Rock Hudson's Birthday

I've seen this Rock Hudson movie, And I like it. Granted Doris Day isn't Rock's leading lady in this BUT Leslie Caron wasn't bad either. She was a good match for Rock in this movie. I thought Charles Boyer as Leslie Caron's father was GREAT in this movie as was Walter Slazak, Dick Shawn as the WIMPY boyfriend of Leslie Caron and Nita Talbot as Mickey the telephone operator. The ending to this movie SWEET and very funny I think.
