Extensions/flats/sharps/2nd position/tone - Suzuki books are a great series and I was told they are meant to be taught by a teacher. There are virtually no instructions in this book! And I was also told each book is meant to last through a years worth of teaching. I believe there are 8 books in total? I went through book 1 and used YouTube online videos to learn how the songs sound. Some videos will show you how to play it as well so you should give it a try. I just got book 2 and it looks like a lot of challenges are ahead. There are 12 songs in the book. The book is suppose to be a full year so that would be about a month for each song... that may be a little long but they do seem challenging to me so I wouldn't mind spending that much time to learn one if needed.
