Review: OEM seal good quality - Installed in 1999 Jeep Cherokee xj from Dana 30 axle. Good quality seal looks exactly like original. Use a 36mm socket and a bunch of extensions to hammer the old seal out and new one in. If you double check the backlash it should be around 8 thousandths, at least mine was before removing and the same after re install of carrier. Easy job except for getting the carrier our I had to use a crow bar to pry it out, there are some YouTube videos to help with that.

**Q: How do you install them?**
A: There are axle seal installing tool out there. First you remove the carrier and you will see the seal on either side. They have to be driven out and then new ones in.
