If choosing to stain, do so next to match if surrounding hue. After the final stain coat dries, apply 1-3 liberal coats of wood hardener, allowing it to dry between each application. If panting, skip stain and then paint over the top coat of dried wood hardener. It should last for the life of the wood in most cases. **Q: Can this be applied with a sprayer? thanks** A: Yes, but you must immediately back brush. Brush the area that you just sprayed.
