7-inch is manufactured using 3CR13 stainless steel
7.2-inch is manufactured using 420 stainless steel

A: I am not familiar with the gauge or flexibility of a drip line but these scissors work really well with cleanly cutting various gauges of tubing. No PVC tho….too rigid. Sorry I couldn’t answer this better!
