It was clear and beautiful. If you looking for one for a madam leota , that styrofoam head wont fit as is. I was determined tho and shaved it down to make it fit. I needed a bigger opening. None the less, I made it work and it was great. Review: 12" overall diameter, and 8.5" custom opening was perfect for most costume needs - Perfect for my cosplay! I have a pretty small head, so it is a smidgen large looking proportionally, but it works perfect for the nuka cola girl cosplay I am working on. this would also be just the right size for a space ranger (buzz lightyear) suit, so I definitely plan on getting at least one more of these domes. a custom cut 8.5" diameter opening was actually perfect for my needs, my head measures 22" circumference at the largest. The rim of the hole doesn't even make contact with the back of my head, ears, or tip of my nose when I put the dome on my head; It wasn't too large of an opening either. if you have a larger than average head, definitely consider using a larger dome and a slightly larger custom opening, but this is the perfect size for a typical mysterio, space ranger, etc cosplay for average or smaller sized heads. ## Features - THE RIGHT SOLUTION: 12" Globe with a 5.25" Outside Diameter Neckless Opening.
