The bottle inside opening measures 1.5 inches, the outer thread measurement is just over 2 inches, about 2 1/16 inches. **Q: Strong jalapeno flavor?** A: I wouldn't say strong, but rather a good balanced flavor. It is my favorite green sauce. Excellent on eggs and chicken! If in doubt, just buy a small 5oz bottle to try.
