## Description

Prevent snakes from entering, nesting, and foraging in your yard and garden areas with this long-lasting, easy-to-use “No-Stink” formula: Ortho® Snake B Gon® Snake Repellent Granules*. Treat tunnels and dens by applying to the openings. Reapply it as needed or approximately every 30 days. When used near edible crops, do not allow the product to come in contact with those for human or animal consumption.

Review: No Snake's so Far... - Live in Southeast Texas, where it’s a moist climate, okay, moist is an understatement, it’s a dripping hot miserable tropical land that is perfect for water moccasins. My mother has a pool and the pump for it is along the side of the house, so, she has to go back there fairly often. One day I went to the side of the house, smelt dead meat, didn’t think anything of it. However, went to the side of the house and opened the gate to the side yard and thought there was a random skink crawling up the fence, then after my eyes adjusted to what I was seeing, it was about a five-foot water moccasin. After calculating that I wouldn’t be able to kill it with one hit of the shovel, I closed the gate and walked away…debating whether to get pike, machete, or spear to be able to manage it if I saw it again. We’d always had snakes, just not one quite this size. HOWEVER, my neighbor also had chickens, which I’m certain contributes to this situation. My mother indicated that she’s seen a fair number of them, especially one that hangs out on the patio that she “shoo’s” away. Yeah, that’s not good. So, I did my research and got this stuff, it’s weird, you really don’t think about it if works, but we’ve been using it for a few months now and there haven’t been any snakes re-appearing. It has been a colder than usual winter, but at the same time, we’ve had enough warm days for them to pop back up. I’d argue, so far, so good, haven’t had any more snakes and I’ve replied after a few months.

**Q: Can I use this on a plane?**
A: Oh NO!! Snakes on a plane!!

**Q: Does it repell mouses?**
A: Unsure of the answer, but will say I have not had a mouse in 2-3 years.  So, leaning more to yes.  Give it a try.

**Q: Does it prevent any kind of snakes bothering my Bluebirds houses?**
A: Don't know.  I've sprinkled two of these containers at the base of my planters and all around my home and so far so good, maybe it could be too soon to tell because we are in spring time now, I'll keep posting if any changes. I'm dealing with rattle and gofer snakes they came down last summer due to the country fires in the area.  Hope this helps.

This product was very easy to use. I distributed it around the perimeter of my yard to get rid of a couple of snakes that had taken residence in my backyard. It made my backyard smell like it had had potpourri sprinkled in it. It was a very pleasant smell that I was hoping the snakes wouldn't appreciate. The snakes didn't immediately vacate my yard but many of the lizards and frogs I have did. After about a week or two, though, "my" snakes were nowhere to be found so I do believe the product works. It has been several months since I have used the product and my frogs and lizards have returned but thankfully no snakes.
