Will this item do that?** A: I believe it will. It is more ink than paint and is really meant for silkscreening. I have used it to paint on glow in the dark skeletons on t-shirts. As with slot of glow in the dark stuff, it is very bright immediately after being exposed to light but then fades relatively quickly. It recharges very quickly. 5-10 minutes. **Q: Is this regular glow in the dark or only under UV light?** A: Great question! This is traditional glow in the dark ink. It requires charging from natural or artificial light sources for the ink to glow in the dark. **Q: Could I use this to paint a homemade simple fabric or fleece stuffed animal? ? ?** A: It is fairly thick so a little goes a long way. The glow is better with a white base under. I wouldn’t use it on a stuffed animal as the fabric may become crusty feeling. **Q: Rather than putting a white undercoat to this glow ink, has anyone tried to mix it directly w/white to see if it retains its glow? Wishful thinking?!?** A: Yes I have and it's a very qualified yes it can work, but the effect is much diminished. It really depends on what effect you are trying to accomplish. I have mixed it with other inks and even water color paint and it does work, but it pops less the more dilute/opaque it is. That being said, the white glow in the dark is really the only color you want to try this with since it is the only one of the 4 types that Speedball makes that has the intensity to do it with. Also, if you try to paint/ink over the white glow in the dark specifically to try and cover it over, it can even bleed through an over coat.
